We want you to be happy with your purchase from The Studio Bookshop. If something goes wrong, we’ll do our best to put it right — fairly, reasonably, and in line with UK consumer law.
- Order Cancellations (Before Dispatch)
If you change your mind before your order has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible using the details on our Contact page.
If we are able to cancel the order before fulfilment begins, you will receive a full refund.
Once an order has entered the fulfilment process, cancellation may no longer be possible.
- Delivery Issues & Non-Delivery
Our books are printed and fulfilled on demand by a third-party fulfilment partner. Delivery times are therefore estimates rather than guarantees.
However:
- If your order has not arrived within 21 days of dispatch, please contact us
- If the order is confirmed as lost or unreasonably delayed, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund, at your choice
We may ask you to confirm your delivery address or provide brief confirmation of non-receipt before issuing a refund.
- Damaged or Faulty Items
If your book arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receipt, ideally including a photograph of the issue.
Where a book is damaged in transit or has a manufacturing fault, we will offer:
- A replacement copy, or
- A full refund
You will not be required to pay return postage for damaged or faulty items unless otherwise agreed.
- Returns for Unwanted Items
If you have changed your mind, you may return an item provided that:
- You notify us within 14 days of receiving the item
- The book is unused, unread, and in resaleable condition
In these cases:
- Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer
- We recommend using a tracked or signed-for service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit
- Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been received and checked
- Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible.
Please allow up to 10 working days for refunds to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
- Digital Products (If Applicable)
If we offer digital products (such as ebooks or downloadable content), different rules may apply. Once access to digital content has begun, refunds may not be available except where required by law.
